Our Story

My name is Mario Venier, and I’m the founder and one of the designers of Haus of Urns.

I’ve always been drawn to art in its many forms. A painting in a museum, a thoughtfully designed building, a song I’ve never heard before. If it moves you in any way, positive or negative, it’s art. That connection has always mattered to me.

In my early professional years, I worked as a car painter. I was especially inspired by the 60s and 70s, the Harleys, particularly Frisco-style choppers, the music, the freedom, and the authenticity of that era. It was the first time I experienced what it meant to create something with my hands and to restore something that carried meaning for someone else.

I saw the reactions firsthand. The smiles, the quiet moments, the joy when a restored car brought back memories of a father, a grandfather, or someone who had left a lasting mark on their life. Craftsmanship had the power to reconnect people with moments that mattered.

I carried those experiences with me as life moved on. I studied, explored other professions, built companies, and managed complex engineering projects. Each chapter added to my skills and perspective. Still, nothing came close to the feeling of creating something that resonated so personally with someone else.

That’s where the idea for Haus of Urns began.

I wanted to create memorial pieces that reflect freedom, individuality, and authenticity, combined with high-quality materials and outstanding craftsmanship. Pieces that feel intentional, personal, and different from anything traditionally expected.

As a small team of professionals, we began with our signature design, Freedom, which captures the core of that vision. As we grow, we’ll introduce additional designs and collaborate with artists who share the same respect for craft and meaning.

Haus of Urns is becoming a place for artistic collaboration and thoughtful design, focused on creating handcrafted memorial pieces that reflect unique lives and individual journeys.

Because I believe a unique character deserves something just as unique.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story.

Keep on punching,
